Best line: "So far as we know there is no Tooth Fairy in the deep ocean."

This is how you would look like if there's too much pressure in your life.

This is fascinating. Despite this I would never, ever want to run into one of these underwater.

Its sad they don't show anything like this on TV.. Everything is about 'rare' footage, dramatic music, and 10 cutscenes in a minute ..

I wonder how creatures like this can live so far deep, it almost seems as if the pressure doesnt affect them.

Absolutely fantastic stuff. Great job Mbari. How does it avoid predators if there are no objects to hide behind in the open ocean?

This is wonderful - I've wanted to see film of one of these critters ever since I saw photos of them in books when I was a little kid, and that was a very long time ago...

I don't know what's weirder. The fact humans still have barely explored the depths of the ocean on our own planet or the fact we're already trying to explore space when we know so little about our own planet compared to what we could know.

This is excellent footage! What kind of imaging was used to capture this? It looks like it's not purely optical imaging
